Slidebrella is one of Perry's abilities in Super Princess Peach. This move can be used on red striped ropes, allowing Perry to hook onto the ropes and slide along them while Princess Peach remains inside Perry. The player can use the +Control Pad Control Pad to slow down or speed up, and press A Button to jump. While Princess Peach is using this ability, she cannot use any of her vibes and is largely vulnerable to enemies, although she can jump to defeat enemies from any direction. Slidebrella is both introduced and acquired in Shriek Mansion 3-1.

Levels

Slidebrella appears in the following levels:

  • Shriek Mansion 3-1: A Slidebrella section is found immediately after acquiring the ability. Completing this section is necessary to complete the level.
  • Shriek Mansion 3-4: A Slidebrella section can be accessed by entering the first Warp Pipe in the level. Reaching the end of the section allows access to the second Toad in the level.
  • Fury Volcano 4-2: A Slidebrella section is found after the first two Toads in the level. Completing this section is necessary to complete the level.
  • Fury Volcano 4-4: A Slidebrella section is found after the first Toad in the level. Reaching the end of the section returns Princess Peach to the entrance of the section.
  • Giddy Sky 7-2: A Slidebrella section can be accessed in the area with Banzai Bills by using the giant Springboard to reach the Warp Pipe at the top of the area. This section acts as a shortcut past both the Banzai Bill area and the area after it.
  • Giddy Sky 7-5: A Slidebrella section can be accessed in the area with Lakitus by riding a Lakitu's Cloud to the top of the area and entering the Warp Pipe in the top right corner. Reaching the end of the section returns Princess Peach to a Warp Pipe below the entrance of the section.
  • Bowser's Villa 8-4: Two Slidebrella sections appear in this level. The first section is found at the very beginning of the level. The second section is found after the room with a Mad Big Boo; the first Toad in the level is to the left of this section.

Additionally, Shriek Mansion 3-9, Fury Volcano 4-9, Giddy Sky 7-9, and Bowser's Villa 8-9 each contain a single Slidebrella section, which is found after entering the Warp Pipe in the first section of the level. Each section must be completed in order to complete the level.
