Template:Species-infobox Skeeters[1] are large-bodied magenta versions of the enemy of the same name in New Super Mario Bros.. They appear in two levels, 3-A and 8-2. They skate aimlessly across the water, and drop blue bombs drawn with white skulls. The bombs can destroy blocks, giving access to two Star Coins as a result (one normally, and one mini pipe, which holds one). They and their bombs release Coins if hit with a fireball from a Fire Flower. Only the red part of their bodies can damage Mario or Luigi.
