Silver Stars in Double Time
Template:Missionbox Silver Stars in Double Time is the second mission of the Beat Block Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. This mission can only be activated if the player collected the Comet Medal in the previous mission and while there is a Prankster Comet in orbit.
Mission
This mission's objective is the same as the previous one, except the Beat Blocks are changing four times as fast (as opposed to twice as fast as the mission's name implies). The blocks alternate between orange and green every two beeps with no break in between. Additionally, there are no enemies in this mission, aside from one Goomba in a crystal. This is also one of the few Prankster Comet missions in the game with Checkpoint Flags. Once the player makes it to the pyramid at the end, which is now larger than the one from the previous mission, the player needs to collect the five Silver Stars. Once all the Silver Stars are collected, the Power Star will appear at the top of the pyramid and the Beat Blocks will stop alternating.
