First appearance Wario Land 3 (2000)

Seeing-eye doors,[1] also parsed as seeing eye doors,[2] are obstacles that appear in Wario Land 3. They serve to block Wario's progress but will only close if he is nearby while visible. As such, he needs to become Invisible Wario using the potions by Mad Scienstein in order to pass. If Wario is not invisible, other enemies or items cannot pass the door even though it is open despite being thrown from afar. Even if Wario becomes visible again while in the middle of the door, he will not be harmed by it. While they cannot be defeated by normal means, exiting a level with one on-screen will cause the pupil to be "defeated" with the same effect any other enemy would have.

Seeing-eye doors appear in three levels, in the following quantities: The Peaceful Village (1), The Vast Plain (6), and the Cave of Flames (2).
