Ruffin' Tumble

Ruffin' Tumbles are round bird-like enemies that appear in Yoshi's Woolly World. They are very similar to Bowling Goonies from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and only appear in World 3-2, Wobble Mobile Jaunt. Like Bowling Goonies, they are found rolling along the ground and can hurt Yoshi if he touches one from the side. By bouncing on top of them and holding down the jump button while Flutter Jumping, however, Yoshi can ascend much higher than normal, which is necessary to clear the level. A patch variant of Ruffin' Tumbles, Ruffin' Tumble Patches, are also found in the same level. They act the same as normal ones, except that they need to be unravelled from their patch to be used.
