This article is about the level designated "2-1" in American and Japanese regions. For the level designated "2-1" in other regions, see Room 3-1 (Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!).

Template:Levelbox Room 2-1 (titled Room 1-1 in the British English version) is the first course of Sandstone Stroll in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!. It is the first course in the game to contain a Color Switch, which can be pressed to extend or retract gates and bridges of the same color.

The course features two mini toys.

Overview

The minis start at the bottom left, facing a formation of Pink Block spaces located just above a row of spikes. There is a Goal Door further ahead, but it is blocked by a yellow gate. The player should first build a staircase out of Pink Blocks to help the minis reach the Yellow Color Switch on a higher platform to the right. Jumping on this switch will cause all present yellow gates to retract, including the one in front of the door. The minis should then be guided to the door and clear the course.

Mini Mario Card

The Mini Mario Card is located behind a yellow gate, a level higher from the minis' starting positions. In order to obtain it, the player must first guide the minis to the Yellow Color Switch as explained above, then head to the left using a bridge of Pink Blocks.
