Variant of Frogog

Ribbites are orange relatives of Frogogs in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its remake. They appear in Land's End and Bean Valley. In battle, they fight along Beezos. Ribbite's name is a portmanteau of "ribbit," an onomatopoeia of a frog sound, and "bite." Ribbites' Thought Peek thought, coupled with their Japanese name, may be intended to indicate they are actually the children of the Frogogs Mario previously encountered.

Frogogs name their children Ribbites. But what do Ribbites name their children? They don't appear in this game, so we may never know.
