The Propeller is an item in the NES release of Mario's Time Machine. It is the original propeller used by the Wright brothers in 1903, during the first controlled flight with a powered aircraft. However, it is stolen at some point by Bowser after he travels back in time to Kitty Hawk, as he wants to exhibit it in his museum alongside other stolen items. It is later taken by Mario after he enters the museum and defeats the Koopas guarding it, and he proceeds to bring it with him as he travels back in time to return it. He then mounts it back on the Flyer, and a news article suddenly appears that makes a joke suggesting that Mario should fasten his seatbelt.
