Poochy's Mix-Up is a game on the Nintendo Kids Club website.[1]

Gameplay[edit]

The player first must choose the difficulty level: Easy for nine tiles or Difficult for sixteen tiles. They are given five seconds in the Easy level and three seconds in the Difficult level to look at the original image before beginning the game. The player must correctly put the tiles together to create the same image they looked at earlier. They can click on an image near the whitened spot to move it into that spot and when the player correctly lines up the tiles, the image automatically forms and the game ends. Once the player has completed the puzzle, a window appears showing a rating out of three stars based on how much time it took the player to complete the puzzle. The player can then choose to play a new game or close the window to return to the title screen. The game can be paused at any point by clicking on the PAUSE button at the bottom. On the pause screen, the player can choose to start a new game or resume the current game.

The game cycles through five different pictures every time a puzzle is completed and a new game is started. These pictures are the same for both difficulty levels.

In-game instructions[edit]

Poochy and his best pal Yoshi seem to have got a bit mixed up! Can you help them out?

When the game starts, we'll show you a picture, then we'll jumble it all up. It's up to you to put it right again!

Click on a tile to move it into the space. Keep moving tiles around until the pictures match – the quicker you finish, the better your score!
