PipeProject:Adding Aboutfile template

It has been decided that the Super Mario Wiki will no longer support this feature. This page is kept and protected strictly for historical purposes.

This PipeProject was created to organize a committee that would apply the {{aboutfile}} template and its necessary information to the tens of thousands of images that lack it. Since most of the files we have uploaded don't have this template, and many of the files uploaded every day don't include this template, I have created this project to fix that problem before it gets worse. This might take a very long time to get done, but if we get enough users working hard on this, it will be finished someday. If you have anything to say about this, feel free to post it in the discussion page.

Goals

• To quickly find files without the aboutfile template, and add the template and any necessary information to the file. Clicking an "Random page", reading part of the article, and then clicking on any image on the page might help you find an image. For long pages with multiple images, go through the images in order. Also add the template to new images where the user who uploaded the file may have neglected to add the template.
• To put the aboutfile template in the "Summary" section whenever you upload a file.

Be sure to see the actual template here so you know how to use and apply information to the template.
It might also help to work on images for the games or serieses that you are knowledgeable in, so you don't have to take your time reading an article.
Edit: You can click Special:Random/Image to automatically navigate to a random image. Thanks to Mariomario64 (talk) for pointing that out.
