That's a Parabuzzy. A Buzzy Beetle with wings. Max HP is 5, Attack is 3, and Defense is 4. I guess those stats are just like a Buzzy. Fire and explosions seem to have no effect, so don't bother, OK? If you flip it over, its Defense goes down to 0, so jump on it first.

Parabuzzies are winged Buzzy Beetles, similar to Paragoombas and Paratroopas. They also bear some resemblance to Para-Beetles, but unlike that species, Parabuzzies have legs in addition to wings. They have appeared in the games Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Super Paper Mario, and in Super Mario Maker and Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS if the player applies wings to Buzzy Beetles.

History

Paper Mario series

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Parabuzzies first appear in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They can be found in the Pirate's Grotto and in the Pit of 100 Trials. Like other Buzzy Beetles, they are immune to fire attacks, and flying allows them to evade ground attacks from Mario and his party. If hit with a single jump, however, their wings will be knocked off and the Parabuzzy will become a normal Buzzy Beetle.

Card description
Just look at this cute little Buzzy Beetle with wings! It'll lose its wings if you stomp on it. Of course, that would be totally heartless.

This is a Parabuzzy. It’s a Buzzy Beetle with wings… Max HP is 1, Attack is 1, and Defense is 3. Even flames won’t scorch its hard shell… If you stomp on it, you’ll remove those wings… But still, those little limbs that hang down from its shell… They’re… …a little cute.

In Super Paper Mario, they can be found in The Overthere and Castle Bleck. They behave the same way as in their previous appearance, but now, like other Buzzy Beetles, they are much weaker than in their previous appearances.

Super Mario Maker / Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS

SMM-SMB-BuzzyBeetle-Wings.png

Parabuzzies reappear in Super Mario Maker and Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS if the player applies wings to a Buzzy Beetle; it will fly in a straight line and thus behave in a similar manner. Despite this, flying Buzzy Beetles cannot be stomped normally; they can instead be used as floating platforms, since the player can actually stand on their hard shells, similar to Para-Beetles. Parabuzzies tend to fly upward whenever Mario steps on one, regardless of their size.
