Paper Peach is the paper form of Princess Peach that appears in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, based on Peach from the Paper Mario series. Alongside many other paper characters, she came out of a magical book. Like with the other paper characters in the game, Paper Peach is an independent character from Princess Peach.

History

Princess Peach and Paper Peach's first interaction.
Paper Peach meeting Peach

Paper Peach meets her real-world counterpart when Luigi accidentally releases her, as well as many other paper characters, from the Paper Mario world into the real world. Shortly after this, Paper Peach, along with Peach, is kidnapped by Bowser and Paper Bowser. When Mario, Luigi and Paper Mario follow them into Sunbeam Plains, the Bowsers summon Petey Piranha to slow the trio down, before carrying the two Peaches away in their Koopa Clown Cars.

The Bowser Jrs. take the princesses to Bowser's villa in Mount Brrr, where they are spotted by some Toads. Toadette builds a Papercraft version of Princess Peach that defeats the Papercraft Bowser Jr. that is guarding Bowser's villa. However, the Bowser Jrs. escape with the princesses, taking them back to Bowser's Castle.

The two princesses are able to escape from their cage at Bowser's Castle, but are soon caught and recaptured by the Bowser Jr. duo. After this, the Bowser Jrs. fight and are promptly defeated by Mario's team, who rescue the princesses. The two Bowsers, furious at the Mario team for hurting their kids, shoot a massive cannonball at Peach's Castle, destroying a large portion of the main tower. After Bowser and Paper Bowser are eventually defeated, all the paper characters go back inside the book, and Paper Peach bids farewell to her real-world counterpart before she returns to the Paper Mario world.
