Template:Minigame-infobox Paint Misbehavin' is a minigame in Mario Party 8. Its name is a pun on the song "Ain't Misbehavin'". It is one of the few 2-vs.-2 and Duel minigames in the game.

Introduction

The players are standing on a gigantic desk with art materials when they see a stampede of Goombas on a stack of books coming toward them. Then they hop into their paintball machines and the game starts.

Gameplay

Each character rides a machine that can shoot paintballs and slide along the edges of the square canvas-like stage. The paintballs are colored according to the player or team's theme color.

The eleven Goombas roam around on the stage. The player or team's goal is to have the most Goombas painted their color by the end of the game. Painted Goombas can be repainted by an opponent's paintball. If a competitor is hit by a rival's paintball, they become stunned for a moment. If all Goombas are painted, it is impossible to have a tie; however, a tie can still happen if an even number of Goombas are painted and both teams or players have the same score.

Ending

The results in Paint Misbehavin' in Mario Party 8
Toad is seen shooting Wario after he lost.

Each character does their victory or losing animations in the center of the stage. The winner(s) walk off the stage and on to their machines. They then attempt to shoot paint, trying to paint the losers. The losers then run around trying to avoid being painted by the winners. The paint never actually hits the loser(s), however. If the minigame ends in a tie, the characters do their losing poses.
