P Switch Peril

P Switch Peril, or Superstar Road-2, is second course of Superstar Road in New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked by collecting every Star Coin in Layer-Cake Desert.
Layout
The player starts in a desert, with a ? Block a skeleton in the background. Then, three metal crates with Bowser's face fall. After that, the player comes across a P Switch and several Brick Blocks blocking the way. When the player hits the P Switch, the Brick Blocks turn into Coins, and the Bowser crates start to fall. After some higher platforms and the first Star Coin, the player encounters another P Switch and some Brick Blocks, acting as platforms above a pit. Afterwards, more Bowser crates fall with some Spinies in the way. After the second Star Coin, a Springboard is found, leading the player to a few Waddlewings and more Bowser crates. The player then reaches the Goal Pole.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: Near the beginning of the level, the player must jump from the second high platform after the first P Switch.
- Star Coin 2: After the fourth P Switch, the player must jump over Spinies on Brick Blocks to obtain this Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3: Near the Goal Pole, the player can either bounce off a Waddlewing or come back on top of the blocks to receive the Star Coin.
Luigi Sighting
- An 8-bit Luigi can be seen by breaking the Brick Blocks over the fourth P Switch.
