Orco

Template:Character-infobox Orco (known as Shachee in Japan and the European GameCube version) is a large blue killer whale who Donkey Kong encounters as a Jungle Buddy in the game Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. Orco's name comes from "Orca", the official name of the killer whale.

Generally, Orco is found simply wandering around aimlessly. Donkey Kong can come up to Orco and grab on to her dorsal fin, allowing him to ride her. Like Enguarde, Orco can smash through underwater barriers and can also leap out of the water and reach extreme heights. Orco has several smaller killer whales follow behind her, implying that Orco is female, as this only happens with female whales in real life, though killer whales are technically dolphins. Additionally, Orco's dorsal fin resembles the shorter, more curved dorsal fin of a female killer whale rather than the longer, triangular dorsal fin of a male killer whale. While the New Play Control! version of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat specifically referred to it as a "he", this could have been a mistake, similar to how Watt was erroneously called a male in Super Paper Mario.
