Nordic Combined is an event in the Nintendo DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games. It is a combination of two events: Ski Jumping - Individual Large Hill and Cross Country Skiing. Eggman Nega is battled in this event during D.S. Adventure Mode. The first half is Ski Jumping - Individual Large Hill and the second half is Cross-Country Skiing. Before the Cross-Country Skiing part, the four characters will use a slot to select a skill they will use during the race. Examples of skills are nothing, Extra Stamina Charge, or Extra Sprint Bonuses.
