Template:Infobox Nintendo Winter Break Games to Play is a personality quiz on the Play Nintendo website.[1] The quiz guides the player towards a preferred game to play over the winter break. The four games presented in this quiz are Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Luigi's Mansion 3, Pokémon Sword and Shield, and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for the Nintendo Switch.

Overview

The player has a total of five questions to answer. Each question provides the player with four answers to choose from, with their final result depending on which answer they chose. When clicked on, the player moves on to the next question. At the end of the quiz, a message will pop up showing the player's final result. The player can then choose to either take the quiz again or take a different quiz on the website.

Results

The result screen contains a short trailer of the game the player got.

  • Luigi's Mansion 3

    [sic] in local wireless multiplayer*. Plus, the Smart Steering feature makes driving and staying on track easy for newbie players!
  • Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield
    Thanks to the wonder of video games, you can spend winter break with one of three new partner Pokémon—Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble—in the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games. You can embark on a journey in the new Galar region, where you’ll challenge the troublemakers of Team Yell, while unraveling the mystery behind the Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta!
  • The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
    Castaway, you should know the truth! The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening game would be a fun and exciting way to spend winter break. As Link, you awake in a strange land away from Hyrule, where animals talk and monsters roam. You can uncover the truth behind your whereabouts and rouse the legendary Wind Fish, explore Koholint Island for Secret Seashells, the Sirens Instruments, and more. Along the way, you’ll meet a lot of friendly faces, like Marin and Tarin—and ferocious foes, too!
