Mysterious Riddles
Mysterious Riddles is a quest in Mario Party Advance that is initiated by Pokey. When the player visits him at the Desert Area, he pops out of the desert and forbids them from leaving; despite this, the player can complain about the heat and immediately leave as Pokey unsuccessfully tries to stop them, though if they ask Pokey what he wants, the quest begins. At the start of the quest, Pokey explains that the player has to answer his three "Riddles of Mystery", the reward being a Gaddget and that the player can leave. Each riddle is presented in the form of a question, with three possible answers to choose from and only one correct answer. The riddles, and their presented answers, are:
- What golfs, parties, and rides on a kart?
- What has spikes, fiery breath, and a temper?
- What is green, but is related to red?
If any of the riddles are answered incorrectly, Pokey sends the player away, shaming them for their lack of knowledge, which forces them to restart the quest. Once all three riddles are correctly answered, Pokey calls the player a "master" of riddles, and rewards them with the Tap-Tap Sumo Gaddget. As he politely sends them off, the quests ends.
