Mute is a special move used by Princess Toadstool in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. She learns move at level 15 and it uses 4 Flower Points. She summons a blue balloon with an "X" inside it and Mutes an enemy once it pops. If the Control Pad is rotated enough, the balloon will Mute all enemies on the screen. If the Control Pad is not rotated enough or the enemies in question are immune to the move, the balloon flies off screen and does not Mute the enemies. This move typically does not work on bosses.
