Mr. Geary's Factory is the third level of Shadowville, the third and final mini-boss level, and the forty-fourth level overall of Yoshi's Crafted World. This level takes place in a factory filled with cogs, compactors, and lava. It is unlocked after clearing Skulking Around, and completing it unlocks The Great King Bowser, the final level in the main story. Mr. Geary is fought at the end of this level.

Overview

Front side

At the start of the level is simply a Shy Guy, and two large cogs dipped in lava. There are four coins above the first cog and eight coins above the second, two of which are Red Coins. Next are two Shy Guys, then two very large compactors with a small group of coins below the second one. A Smiley Flower can be found above these compactors. There is then a Bazooka Heyho and a Winged Cloud Yoshi can hit with an egg to get five hearts. There is then a set of five compactors, with blocks under the fourth one which can be broken. Below this is another Bazooka Heyho and a large group of coins, four of which are Red Coins. To the right is a spring allowing Yoshi to get back up. Up next are two large cogs spinning in lava, with a rising compactor between them and a Time Cloud over the first one. Yoshi can hit it to reveal some Blue Coins. If he collects all of them before time runs out, he gets another Smiley Flower. Just after this is a Check Point.

Yoshi must then move toward the background, where there are two rising lava geysers below two chance blocks. To the left is a Bazooka Heyho guarding four regular coins, two Red Coins, and a 10 Coin. Yoshi must head right and drop down to get to an Egg Block. However, as the cogs starting moving, so does the lava. As the lava quickly rises, Yoshi must make it to the top, four more Red Coins along the way and another Winged Cloud just near the end he can hit to reveal another Smiley Flower. Once he does reach the top, he can head left, where there is a hidden Winged Cloud he can hit to reveal multiple coins. To the right is a pipe Shy Guys come out of, then the second Check Point.

After this are more cogs spinning in lava, with lava geysers between them and lava fountains above some. After the second cog is a Winged Cloud between two lava geysers. It can be hit with an egg to reveal another Smiley Flower. Next is a compactor, then another cog, then another compactor. Behind this cog is a present box that can be hit to get several coins as well as one Red Coin. Yoshi must then make his way into the foreground, where there is a Winged Cloud above a Bazooka Heyho.

At the start of the next section is a Fly Guy and a chance block Yoshi can hit to get a number of coins. To the right are three moving platforms. If Yoshi ducks while on the top one, it moves him into a secret area filled with coins. Once Yoshi makes it past a series of compactors, there is a hidden Winged Cloud to the right above a Bazooka Heyho he can hit to reveal the last Smiley Flower. After making it past two more cogs, Yoshi reaches the top. To the right is a Shy Guy, a Winged Cloud, and the doors leading to the boss fight with Mr. Geary.

Flip side

Once the level starts, the Poochy Pups are seen running ahead of Yoshi. Many more mechanical cogs can be spotted in the background, as well as buildings with a complementary light pink sky. The section with rising lava now has the lava slowly descend as Yoshi heads down. The set of five compactors move from left to right, like in the front side.

• The blue Poochy Pup is found at the bottom of the first vertical section, hanging onto one of the sideways compactors.
• The black Poochy Pup is found on a small raft as the lava descends.
• The pink Poochy Pup is found hanging above, between the two large compactors near the end.

Collectibles

Smiley Flowers

• Smiley Flower 1: Located high up, between the two large compactors near the start of the level.
• Smiley Flower 2: Once Yoshi reaches the cogs dipped in lava, there is a Time Cloud. Yoshi must hit it with an egg, then collect all the Blue Coins that appear to reveal the second Smiley Flower.
• Smiley Flower 3: In the section with the rising lava, just before the compactors, there is a Winged Cloud Yoshi must hit to reveal the flower.
• Smiley Flower 4: In the next section with cogs dipped in lava, there is a Winged Cloud floating just above the lava, between two lava geysers. Yoshi must hit it with an egg to reveal the flower.
• Smiley Flower 5: Found in the second vertical section, just after the first set of compactors, to the right in the form of an invisible Winged Cloud above a Bazooka Heyho.

Three more Smiley Flowers are awarded for collecting at least 100 coins in the level, completing the level with 20 hearts, and collecting all 20 Red Coins. In the flip side, three are awarded for bringing all three Poochy Pups to the goal, and one more for doing so within three minutes and thirty seconds.

Front side

• Little Mouser: Just after the second Check Point, between the first two spinning cogs.
• Forklift: Once Yoshi enters the background, it is left, behind the Bazooka Heyho.
• Can Robot: At the very end of the level, hidden in the background just before the Shy Guy.

Flip side

• Happy Gear 1: At the very start of the level, near the boss doors.
• Happy Gear 2: At the bottom of the first vertical section, slightly to the right, in the background among the spinning cogs.
• Happy Gear 3: Just before entering the background with the second Check Point, stuck to a cog spinning in lava.
• Happy Gear 4: In the background, behind the set of five compactors, in the center of a large cog.
• Happy Gear 5: Underneath the second large compactor near the end.
• Happy Gear 6: Just before the end of the level, in front of the second spinning cog, near an electrical socket.

Sprout

Once Yoshi returns to the foreground, Sprout can be found in the center of a cog dipped in lava.
