Mousers and Magnets is the eighth level of Yoshi's Crafted World, and the third level of Big Paper Peak.

Overview[edit]

Front side[edit]

The level begins with a Spear Guy in front of a can with a magnet. Yoshi can carry magnets and stick them to cans. After climbing the first can, Spear Guys are found ahead along with three Little Mousers tossing a magnet to each other. This can be used to scale another can, leading to a smaller can with a magnet on it. Removing this magnet opens a doorway. After climbing another can and getting through more Spear Guys, Yoshi reaches the first Check Point, with two Little Mousers tossing a 10 Coin to each other above it.

After that, Yoshi reaches a building with Little Mousers on the ceiling and a Crafty Cat. Yoshi can pump up the Crafty Cat to scare the Mousers, making them come down. One Little Mouser carries a magnet, and another has a 10 Coin. The magnet must be placed on a small can to raise a door blocking Yoshi's path. After that, Yoshi finds a Winged Cloud containing hearts between Little Mousers each tossing a Coin to one another. Next is a large wheel with a big magnet inside it, stuck to a small can. Ground Pounding the wheel opens a doorway, with several Spear Guys in it. Afterward, Yoshi must open another doorway by sticking two magnets to a small can, taking him to the second Check Point.

Right after the second Check Point is another building with a Crafty Cat and Little Mousers in the ceiling. This time, two Little Mousers carry magnets and two carry Red Coins. Yoshi must place two magnets on a small can to open another doorway. Afterward, Yoshi has to place two magnets to climb across two stacks of cans to reach a second wheel with a big magnet in it. Ground Pounding it unattaches it and rolls it down a hill, taking Yoshi to the goal.

Flip side[edit]

Both wheels remain in the spot they end up after they were ground pounded on in the front side. A big spring is placed below the wheel's original spot, so Yoshi can get up to the high can stacks again. Each doorway is left open with magnets on the small cans. The light-blue Poochy Pup is found above the first building, in the same place as the sixth Smiley Flower. Both Crafty Cats are on the opposite side from before so they still face the camera. The Black Poochy Pup hangs at the top of the second building, and can be brought down by pumping up the Crafty Cat. The pink Poochy Pup hangs on to a door that can be brought up by placing a magnet on a small can.
