Mega Blooper's Bayside Bop is a Boss Battle minigame in Mario Party: Star Rush. Unlike other Boss Battle minigames, players do not try to defeat Mega Blooper; instead they earn points by matching its rhythm.

Introduction

Music notes come out of the water, and then Mega Blooper comes out with its conductor stick as the players in bubbles reach to the ledge to follow its moves.

Gameplay

The game first starts out with the rhythm being shown on a card, indicating how high the ball is and how players need to time their jumps. The Bloopers then hit the ball in rhythm to show off what the rhythm will be like. Then, players need to mimic the rhythm by timing their jumps. Timing it perfectly gives players 2 points, early or late is 1 point, and messing up the timing deducts a point from the player. After the rhythm is done, players switch positions randomly.

Halfway through the minigame (after 10 accumulated points or more are obtained), the tempo speeds up. The game ends after 20 accumulated points or more are obtained. The last player to fill up the bar on the top-right of the screen gets an extra 3 points.

Ending

After the last player fulfils up the bar, the Mega Blooper, satisfied with the results, takes a bow and goes back into the water with a big splash. In Toad Scramble, a Star appears from the pond that Mega Blooper was in after the game ends.
