Mean Minions is the first level in the Lava Lair in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey.
OverviewEdit
When Bowser Jr., Kamek, and Morton enter the path to the castle, they find out that the castle was gone. Bowser Jr. finds four brainwashed Goombas, thinking they could help him find out what happened to the castle. Unfortunately, the Goombas welcomed the three to "Fawful Theater", despite the theater not being there at the moment. Bowser Jr. could not understand what they were saying and does not realize they were brainwashed by Fawful. Kamek reassures Bowser Jr. that the Goombas were under a spell that he couldn't undo. Bowser Jr. tells the Goombas to stop talking and fights them. After the battle, Bowser Jr. had beaten the Goombas, but four more appear to inform him to take his seat. Bowser Jr., bored, wanted to get the Ever Ice, but Kamek tells him that Bowser's Castle was not in its usual spot, and the Skeletone Formula:D is useless if there are no blorbed minions around. Bowser Jr. throws a tantrum saying that he doesn't care about anyone and all he cares about is himself and his main goal to find the Ever Ice. Kamek tells Bowser Jr. that it is very unwise to say that and shows him a detour that could take them to the castle's basement while the Goombas kept telling them to find their seats.
