I don't see why this page is protected. Most MarioWiki pages aren't. Besides, staff from the other wikis cannot edit this page if it is protected, nor can our Patrollers. · SMB (Talk) · 19:37, 14 April 2010 (EDT)

Maybe make it semi-protected. KS3 (talk · contribute)

Metroid Wiki and Wikirby

What about those?? KS3 (talk · contribute) 23:17, 20 April 2010 (EDT)

Uh, wikis about the subjects in their titles? Like how we are a MARIOwiki.

F-Zero Wiki

No F-Zero Wiki? Sad. There needs to be one for good ol' Captain Falcon. --Wildgoosespeeder 00:53, 12 July 2011 (EDT)

join

Is it possible for my new wiki to join the NIWA.[1]

Nope wikia aren't affiliate or allowed with the alliance.

Wiki Friends?

Hey I never knew this but NIWA is friends with Halopedia and Destinypedia. WOW. It's sort of weird since Nintendo and Microsoft are sort of rivals.

How does a wiki get created?

Just wondering since Inkipedia was created for Splatoon but no Xenoblade Wiki was created in the alliance. Is it too late? There's a lot of pages in the unofficial Xenoblade Wiki which makes me think there shouldn't be an official one as there would be too much info to create. Luigi86101 (talk) 17:44, 23 August 2018 (EDT)

A wiki can get created in a lot of different ways, for instance Bulbapedia, Super Mario Wiki, Zelda Wiki and the earlier NIWA wikis were created on the spot and later formed / joined NIWA, while the later NIWA wikis generally were created on Wikia and later leaved and then joined NIWA. ARMS Institute is the only one not following those patterns AFAIK as they were created on Miraheze instead and then moved independant and then joined NIWA, since they were from Miraheze the original wiki is archived instead. Xenoblade Wiki can join NIWA but they'd have to go independant / leave wikia first. --Raltseye prata med mej 19:01, 24 August 2018 (EDT)
