• April 9: Yoshi's Story released in 1998 in Europe. Dr. Mario 64 released in 2001 in North America. Super Paper Mario released in 2007 in North America.
• April 10: Mario Kart Wii released in 2008 in Japan.
• April 11: The SNES was released in Europe in 1992, along with a launch title, Super Mario World, Mario Kart Wii released in 2008 in Europe.
• April 13: Tetris DS released in 2006 in Australia.
• April 14: Famicom Grand Prix II: 3D Hot Rally released in 1988.
