1. I know I nominated him once long ago and he got taken off the list but his artical is waaaaaay better now it has more info more Images and is very well written thus why I say this artical should be featured. Luigibros2

Well, one thing I noticed is that the introduction is only two sentences. FAs need good leads, so I say that the intro needs to be a paragraph at least. I didn't read the entire article, but does appear to be nice, detailed, and lengthy. WK

@Stumpers' vote: Almost all more notable characters from the Mario series have appeared in Super Mario-Kun. And there are many more Japan-only mangas which feature Mario series characters. But most people here (except for Garlic Man and a few other) don't have access to them. Yoshi's article is featured despite there's not a word about Super Mario-Kun in the article, and Yoshi is one of the main characters there. I don't think that the inclusion of information about Japan-only material should be a requirement for FA status, because of obvious reasons. --Grandy02 14:04, 19 September 2008 (EDT)

I understand, but keep in mind that one of the FA status requirements is that the article needs to be complete. As it stands Doopliss's article is not. Couldn't you ask one of those users for a favor? Stumpers! 14:48, 19 September 2008 (EDT)

Okay, I put a message on Garlic Man's talk page. However, if this is a requirement, then most of the featured articles on characters and species had to be unfeatured, because they have (almost) no information about Japan-only manga appearances. --Grandy02 15:39, 19 September 2008 (EDT)

I took a look at a base for online Super Mario Kun comics and then found a small comic strip with Doopliss in it so I tried to determen it and joted down what I got in an other apperance section.--Luigibros2 18:16, 17 November 2008 (EST)
