MarioWiki:Cross-Wiki Week

The Cross-Wiki Weekend is an annual event celebrating Nintendo's birthday hosted by the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance (NIWA) . The purpose of the event is to invite users to edit other wikis they rarely or never edit. After the event ends, users who participated are encouraged to enter into a draw where one lucky winner will get a Nintendo Gift Card! The 2019 Cross-Wiki Weekend will take place from September 20th to September 22nd. You can find more information on the NIWA website.

If you come from another wiki, and are looking for ways to help the MarioWiki, we suggest you to take a look at our Maintenance page, which lists a variety of tasks for users to help with. Some categories require more knowledge of the Mario franchise, like wanted pages or stubs, but there are many others anyone can help with! Our monthly newsletter, The 'Shroom has a project called Spotlight which features items from several categories that need to be worked on; if you can't decide where to start, this could be a great place to do so. If you need help, feel free to read our Manual of Style or to contact an administrator.
