Template:Minigame-infobox Magnet Carta is a two-on-two coin-collecting minigame in Mario Party 2 with an electromagnet. The name of the mini-game is a pun on the Magna Carta, an important document in European history which limited a king's power.

Gameplay

The mini-game involves players picking up the Coins, Coin Bags and a treasure chest with magnets attached to the karts and putting them into their own hole. Whichever team puts any money into their hole wins the minigame, earning the amount of coins obtained during gameplay. If no one has any money within 30 seconds, the item minigame Miss music plays.

Trivia

  • The total amount of coins is 35. Since both players in each team get the same number of coins as they collected together, the sum of everyone's coins can be increased by 70 if all coins are collected after this game is played on board games.
