Little Lost Island is the secret level of Lost Island in DK: Jungle Climber. While it is included among the other levels of Lost Island, Little Lost Island is, as the name suggests, a smaller, individual version of Lost Island with the same environments as its larger counterpart. It is the second "miniature island" in the game.

To unlock the level, the player must collect all of the oil barrels found on Lost Island to power Funky Kong's airplane. Like the other miniature islands seen in the game, Little Lost Island does not have KONG Panels or oil barrels to collect.

Layout

The level begins with a few small Peg Boards, some unstable, amidst multiple Zingers, as well as a few Blast Barrels. After a short while, Donkey Kong will encounter a Switch Peg opening a door leading to the next area. The second section features an area where Diddy Kong must be thrown onto a group of higher platforms whilst Donkey Kong pulls two different Switch Pegs to open some sliding doors blocking Diddy's progress. The third section then features a vertical climb with additional Peg Boards, along with a few rocks and intermittent TNT Barrels. Upon reaching the top, the duo will reach the level's exit.

  1. Atop the highest platform in the first section. Donkey Kong must use a diagonal Blast Barrel nearby to reach a lone peg below the Banana Coin, then jump on the higher platform to reach it.
  2. At the bottom right corner of the first section, adjacent to an unstable peg.
  3. In the second section, Diddy Kong must be guided through the higher platforms, with Donkey Kong pulling Switch Pegs to allow progress wherever necessary, to the right to reach the Banana Coin at the end.
  4. Immediately following the third Banana Coin, Diddy Kong must be led to a Hammer, then be led over to the left, again with Donkey Kong pulling Switch Pegs to allow progress wherever necessary. The duo must then use the Hammer to break the blocks surrounding the Banana Coin.
  5. At the very top left of the third section. Some Peg Boards must be jumped off of in order to reach it.
