2 Shelltops in Dozing Sands, showing the first beanhole to Mario and Luigi.

In Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, Mario and Luigi can collect Beans from beanholes – X-shaped bean symbols on the ground – by using Mole Mario and jumping out at the spots. There are 143 beanholes in total. Aside from the Dream World areas, where beanholes are completely absent due to Mole Mario only being usable in the real world, Pi'illo Castle is the only location that does not have any beanholes at all.
