In Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, Mario and Dreamy Luigi can free Pi'illos by breaking Nightmare Chunks in the Dream World. Pi'illos are first found in the form of a stone pillow and after being freed, they are seen in their humanoid forms until the end of the game. There are 52 Pi'illos to be freed (53 if Prince Dreambert is counted, though the game does not take him into account), and 21 of them are required to be freed. Pi'illo Blimport is the only area without any Pi'illos.
