  • Bio: "Bowser Jr. has been causing trouble for Mario since they met at Isle Delfino, doing the bidding of his father, the great Koopa King Bowser. When Mario gives chase to Bowser across the universe, Bowser Jr. tries to intercept the plumber and make his father proud. But does the little Koopa underling have the guts to really stop the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom?"
  • Trading Card: "Bowser Jr. will stop at nothing to keep Mario from rescuing the Princess. Bowser Jr. guards three Grand Stars and also commands other bosses to attack Mario at will. • European Website Bio: "He might only come up to his dad's knee, but getting past Bowser Jr. is still a tall order. • Japanese Website Bio: 「バースデーケーキを使ってピーチ姫をさらった張本人。たくさんの仲間を指揮しているようです。」 "The perpetrator who kidnapped Princess Peach using a birthday cake. It seems he commands his many comrades."

He even cruises around in a clown-like copter, which is similar to his father's. Beware of one of his most dangerous devices: an explosive spike bomb. If you stomp the floor when the bomb is close to Bowser Jr., and you may be able to blow him right out of the game."

Bowser's beloved, spoiled son sports a bandanna with a large mouth drawn on it. Like his father, Bowser Jr. longs to take Mario down. In Smash Bros., he'll fight from inside his heavily armed Junior Clown Car. The Clown Car takes less damage than Bowser Jr., so mind your positioning. Bowser's probably a big fan of his son, what with him hating Mario just as much as dear old Dad does. The tyke's Junior Clown Car is packed with gadgets and gizmos to throw at enemies! By the way, he's extra vulnerable when he jumps out of it, but...you wouldn't dream of attacking the cute little fella then, would you?

Palutena's Guidance

  • Pit: Is that Bowser Jr.?
  • Viridi: Yes. He's the heir to the Koopa throne.
  • Palutena: I wonder if his father bought him that Junior Clown Car. It's decked out with all sorts of bells and whistles.
  • Pit: Hey, I just thought of an even better name for it. How about...the Shellicopter?!
  • Viridi: ...Needless to say, the Junior Clown Car is one tricky vehicle.
  • Palutena: It's immune to many attacks, so strike when Bowser Jr. is exposed.
  • Viridi: So what you're saying is to hit him from above, right?

Flag Description (Wii U version)

Bowser Jr.
Bowser's prankster of a son. Since Dad spoiled him rotten, he now expects to get his way. Despite his selfishness, he still holds Father in high regard, and wants nothing more than to impress him.

Miis' Dialogues (Wii U version)

  • There's a scary mouth painted on Bowser Jr.'s bib... scarf...shirt...thingie. Whatever that is. Apparently he sometimes uses it as a mask! He thinks it makes him look scary, but it actually just makes him look even more adorable!
  • Bowser Jr. is smaller than his father — and not especially powerful — but he harries Mario and his pals with fiendish underlings and bizarre contraptions. I'm looking forward to seeing what monkeyshines he'll get up to here at the Olympic Games!
  • Bowser Jr. is a bit of a brat, but he respects his father. And Bowser definitely has that no-nonsense air that a good parent needs!
  • Dressing up like Bowser Jr. has had the accidental side-effect of causing the girls of Rio to squeal with delight whenever I wander by. I heard the real Bowser Jr. got upset and said he was going to go tell his dad. Now I’m worried HE’S going to start fawning over me as well!
