Don't look so surprised—even some ghosts are shy! It's like a game of Red Light Green Light: your face means stop, and the back of your head means go. So be very careful if you turn your back. Boo also shows up in the Mario Kart series, making your kart invisible to other racers. Even ghosts can be shy, and these guys are so shy, they can't even attack you if you're watching! It's kind of like they're always playing a ghostly game of statues. Just don't turn your back on them and you'll be all right! That said, they make fine allies in the Mario Kart series, where they can turn you invisible for a while.

Log A somewhat shy ghost that can make itself or its allies invisible. It may be a ghost, but it's pretty cute.
Tattle That's a Boo. It's everyone's favorite ghost. …Well, most everyone… Max HP is 7, Attack is 3, and Defense is 0. It's nothing to write home about on the Attack side, but it can turn invisible. If it turns invisible, we won't be able to hit it, so beat it while you can see it. Boos are kinda cute, but I sure wouldn't want to meet one in a dark alley. If I ran into one in the bathroom in the middle of the night, I'd… Well, never you mind what I'd do.

A ghost that loves mischief, and often appears from dark areas.
Even though it slowly tries to fly down and approach you from behind, it seems if you turn and face it directly, it becomes embarrassed and completely unable to move.

There are various Boos, among them there's even a large Boo that wears a crown!
