Lightning Round
Template:Minigame-infobox Lightning Round is a 4-Player coin-collecting minigame appearing in Super Mario Party. Its name is a pun on a phrase that refers to a round in a game or contest that gives players a certain amount of time to accomplish as much as possible.
Gameplay
In this minigame, players must collect coins that appear while avoiding sparks from a Sumo Bro. If any player hits a spark, they lose three coins. A second Sumo Bro appears after five seconds have passed, and the game ends once 15 seconds have passed.
On the Challenge Road, this is the sixth challenge of Chestnut Forest and the 16th challenge overall. In the normal challenge, the player must get at least 15 coins without getting hit, while in the Master Challenge, the player must get at least 20 coins without getting hit.
