Li'l Penguin Lost
Template:Missionbox Li'l Penguin Lost is the second mission of Cool, Cool Mountain in Super Mario 64 and its remake, Super Mario 64 DS. The objective is to return Tuxie to her mother.
Layout
At the bottom of the mountain is the Mother Penguin in a body of water (which is frozen in the DS version). When approached, she starts fretting about her lost baby. She says that her baby has the same beak as she does, and that she last saw her after she stopped for herring and ice cubes. At the top of the slide's exit, near the Mother Penguin, is a baby penguin; if she is brought down, the Mother Penguin exclaims that the baby is not hers and that her parents must be worried about her. Above the slide's entrance, near where the player starts, is another baby penguin. This one is Tuxie and the correct penguin to deliver. Once she is brought down to the mountain's base, her mother is ecstatic and gives the player a Power Star as a reward. If the player takes Tuxie after the Power Star appears, her mother becomes angry and chases them until Tuxie is placed down.
This mission cannot be completed with Yoshi, as it requires the ability to conventionally pick up objects, which is an ability he lacks.
