The Lemonade is an item in the PC release of Mario's Time Machine. Mary Todd Lincoln offers a glass of lemonade to Mario after he introduces himself to her at the White House in Washington, D.C. circa 1863, and Mario takes it. He then offers it to Abraham Lincoln's speechwriter, who wants to explain the American Civil War and the reasons why it is being fought (including the issue of slavery) to Mario, but his throat has gone dry and he is concerned that he may be talking for quite some time. After receiving the Lemonade, he quickly drinks it and continues talking about the war and Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation.
