La Bomba
Template:Minigame-infobox La Bomba is a 1-vs.-3 minigame in Mario Party 7. Its name is Spanish for "the bomb", but is also a pun on "La Bamba", a Mexican folk song best known for its association with Ritchie Valens, one of its most noted performers.
Introduction
The game takes place in a Bob-omb shipping factory. The solo player stands on a conveyor belt and Ground Pounds above one of the attached boxes, dropping a Bob-omb into the team players' area.
Gameplay
The solo play occupies the large platform conveyor belts carrying boxes in different direction, attached to switches that release Bob-ombs. The other three characters use the area below the platform, with three spiked spinners placed in a triangle. The solo character's objective is to drop Bob-ombs on the other three players and try to eliminate them. The gray boxes hold only one Bob-omb, the green boxes hold two, and the red boxes hold four; the Bob-ombs may either walk in place or actively chase one of the yeam players. The tam players' objective is to avoid being eliminated by the spikes on the stage and the Bob-ombs being dropped on them.
If the solo player eliminates all of their opponents within 30 seconds, they win. If at least one of the team's players survives long enough, the team wins.
