Klobbers[1] (also referred to as Kremlings (in a Barrel) in the Donkey Kong 64 Prima Games guide[2]) are crocodile-like enemies that are part of the Kremling Krew. They first appear in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. These enemies wear barrels and attack by running into Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong, and can shove them into obstacles such as bottomless pits.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest / Donkey Kong Land 2
Klobbers make their first appearance in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest as common enemies. They hide in their barrels and wait for Diddy or Dixie to approach them. Afterwards, Klobbers pop out of their barrels while letting a roar, then attempt to charge into the Kongs and push them around. This attack does not damage the Kongs directly, although it can bring them into a pit or another harmful obstacle. The Kongs can temporarily make a Klobber retreat inside its barrel and stop in place by jumping on it or throwing something at it. While in this state, the Kongs can pick up the barrel and use it as normal. If the player acts quickly, it is possible to grab the barrel before Klobber gets the chance to emerge from it. This can usually be done by dropping down onto Klobber from a great height. By tossing the barrel and destroying it, the Klobber is also defeated, although the enemy is not seen when the barrel shatters.
The green variety are the most common and do not affect the Kongs other than pushing them back. Yellow Klobbers also exist, which cause the player to lose a banana bunch every time they knock into them. Gray Klobbers with red eyes are also present in the game and cause the Kongs to drop an Extra Life Balloon for every hit. Although this decreases their life counter, the Kongs are not knocked out of the stage immediately. The majority of gray Klobbers are found in the Lost World. Red Klobbers known as Kabooms also make an appearance. However, they hide in TNT Barrels instead (with a distinctive letter "N" written backwards, unless they are facing right) and explode whenever they make contact with a Kong.
Unlike most enemies, Klobbers can defeat themselves just by coming into contact with any kind of terrain that can hurt the Kongs. Klobbers belong to the "Kremling Kuthroats" enemy class.
The standard Klobbers also appear in Donkey Kong Land 2, playing the same role.
Donkey Kong 64
Green Klobbers and Kabooms also appear in Donkey Kong 64, where they no longer have ears nor pirate earrings. Here they are uncommon enemies, found only in Angry Aztec, Gloomy Galleon, and certain areas in Crystal Caves. This time, Klobbers shout a sound akin to "C'mon" when encountered and can damage the Kongs when they run into them. They are also immune to direct attacks and the Kongs will only hurt themselves if they try to tackle them this way. However, a shock wave attack, an Orange, or a musical instrument can take them out.
Donkey Konga 2
Klobbers also appear in Donkey Konga 2.

DK: Jungle Climber
Klobbers reappear in DK: Jungle Climber. In this game, they climb on Pegs and they try to bounce into the Kongs. Only two Klobbers appear in the game, in the Spooky Woods area. The area they appear in is very foggy, so the player has to look on the bottom screen map to see where they are climbing around.
