High Springs in Level 2-4

High Springs,[1][2] also known as Vertical Springs,[3] are objects that appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars, as the counterpart to Long Springs.

In Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!, they are known as Vertical Springs, appearing as magenta-colored springs with a rounded top. They are introduced in Area 2-3 of Jumpy Jungle, functioning similarly to Yellow Springs in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!. If a Mini approaches a High Spring, it automatically jumps on it and bounces in an upward arc, allowing the Mini to reach girders directly above it. If a High Spring is placed adjacent to a ledge which is four blocks above ground or lower, Minis can jump on the High Spring to reach the ledge. Unlike Yellow Springs, High Springs are resource objects that can be picked up and placed in other locations, and they always remain in place until picked up.

High Springs reappear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars, where they are introduced in Level 2-4 of Jumpy Jungle. They function identically to their previous appearance; however, in this game, their top is flat instead of rounded.
