Gyrocopter
The Gyrocopter, also known as the Funky-Copter, is a helicopter owned by Funky Kong in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! It is last vehicle that he constructs at Funky's Rentals, if Dixie and Kiddy Kong have obtained every DK Coin, and is the only one capable of hovering across the world map of Northern Kremisphere. The Funky-Copter is required to access three secret caves and to visit the Banana Queen.
In the Game Boy Advance port of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, another Gyrocopter belonging to Funky Kong appears, replacing the original version's Biplane Barrel. Funky Kong only allows Diddy and Dixie to use the Gyrocopter after they demonstrate their piloting skills completing the Aerial Loop challenge at Gangplank Galleon If Diddy and Dixie Kong complete the challenge, the player can use the Gyrocopter at any time from the START menu. The Gyrocopter is used in every Funky's Flights mission: it can drop bombs, fire bullets, and in some challenges, the Gyrocopter can release a grappling hook to hook onto objects like a Treasure Chest. The Gyrocopter has a limited supply of fuel.
