This article is about the enemy from the Kirby series. For the fish enemy from Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze with the same name, see Gordo.

Template:Species-infobox Gordos are urchin-like enemies from the Kirby series. They have also appeared in the Super Smash Bros. series.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, when King Dedede uses his side special move, Waddle Dee Toss, there is about an 8.2% chance that he throws a Gordo instead, which is even stronger than a Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo. A Gordo also appears as a trophy and a sticker.

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, King Dedede can only use Gordos in his side special, meaning the name of this move has been changed to Gordo Throw. Gordos also appear as an enemy in the mode exclusive to Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Smash Run. They are invulnerable to damage and damage players and enemies with their spikes if they run into them. They can be found either not moving at all or moving in a fixed direction.

While Gordos themselves do not appear in Super Mario Maker, if a Spike Trap is placed in a Super Mario World-themed underwater level, it instead becomes a Sea Urchin from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, which in turn is based on a Gordo.

In addition, they're covered in spikes, so they damage whoever touches them. They're found stopped in groups, blocking narrow passageways, etc. Nothing's harder to get by than an encampment of Gordos.
