Glass Labyrinth 3 is the first level of the Wormhole in DK: Jungle Climber.

LayoutEdit

Donkey Kong starts out in a small, simple area with a few small patches he may cling to and swing off of. However, to make any progress here, he must enter the mirror. This replaces the top screen with a mirror image of the bottom screen, albeit a few minor differences, such as collectibles. Donkey Kong must enter a Blast Barrel at the top to complete this section and move onto the next.

The second section is a vertical area with patches Donkey Kong must use to his liking. However, gripping onto certain patches cracks and turns the mirror red, causing him to start the section over. In this room, Donkey Kong may collect Bananas along the way provided he avoids moving glass tiles, not shown in the mirror. He may also collect two Banana Coins in this room before advancing to the next section.

The third section is more horizontal. Unlike with the last section, the images of the items on the bottom screen are flipped, and the ice tiles are shown in the mirror though not on the bottom screen. At the end of this section, Donkey Kong must deactivate the mirror before moving on to the next.

The proceeding section does not have a mirror. Donkey Kong must activate ice platforms to reach a DK Barrel with Diddy Kong inside. Diddy may help Donkey Kong collect a Banana Coin, the DK Coin, and a bunch of bananas before entering the wormhole at the end of this section to complete the level.

Key itemsEdit

  1. Near the bottom of the second section, in front of a purple patch. In the mirror's reflection, it is shown as a regular banana on a blue patch.
  2. Just to the left of the first coin, seen only in the mirror over a purple patch. Without the mirror, it appears to be a regular banana over a green patch.
  3. Near the start of the third section, seen only in the mirror over a purple patch. Without the mirror, it is shown as a bunch of bananas in front of a blue patch.
  4. Toward the middle of the third section, a little bit lower, over a purple patch. In the mirror's reflection, it is shown as a bunch of bananas in front of a blue patch.
  5. In the final section, best reached with Diddy.
