“This place is falling apart! Hey, you rotten ship! Don't even THINK about sinking while I'm on board!”
Waluigi, Fortune Street

The Ghost Ship is a run down old ship from the Dragon Quest series first appearing in Dragon Quest III. It appears as a board in the games Itadaki Street DS and Fortune Street.

History

Itadaki Street DS

The Ghost Ship in Itadaki Street DS

The Ghost Ship appears as one of the Dragon Quest boards in the game. In Tour Mode, the player has to get 2nd place or higher against Platypunk, Yangus and Donkey Kong.

Fortune Street

The Ghost Ship later appears in Fortune Street as one of the six default Dragon Quest boards. In the Easy Rules the board has an oval as the main part of the board with small circles sticking out of the top sides. The bank is located at the bottom of the oval while the suit spaces are located in the two circles. In the Standard rules, the board has a small circle in the middle with two triangles sticking out of the sides. The bank is located on the left triangle while the arcade is located on the right triangle. The two suit spaces are located on the top and bottom of the middle circle and the other two are on the top and bottom of the right triangle. The player must face Carver, Alena and Platypunk and come in second or higher to win.
