Former Captains, Unite!

Template:Levelbox Former Captains, Unite! is a level in Bowser's Castle (East) in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey.

Overview

Before the battle, Wendy and Iggy get in Bowser Jr.'s and Roy's way. Roy wonders where the two have been. Wendy claims that they've been with Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings the entire time and that he should get his glasses checked. Before Wendy could teach Bowser Jr. another battle lesson, Roy teases Wendy wishing him "good luck". Wendy, agitated by this, punches Roy out of the scene. Roy, who was laying near Iggy, tells him that Wendy was the scariest among all the Koopalings and that she could help teach Bowser Jr. a lesson. Iggy wonders if Roy was being serious. This level has three battles. The first battle involves four Mechakoopas, four Hammer Bros, and Wendy as the captain. The second battle has five Mechakoopas, three Hammer Bros, and Iggy as the captain. The third and last battle contains five Goombas, two Mechakoopas, Iggy as the first officer, and Wendy as the captain. During the last battle, Wendy is able to call for backup sending in at least one or two reinforcements. After the battle, Ludwig knew his strength doesn't fail, but wonders if it was enough. Two Goombas whisper to each other that they have better things to do and that despite Bowser Jr. being selfish, he fights very well, though he could just fail or succeed the lessons regardless. Ludwig, having overheard their conversation heads right towards them and tells them to stop talking and to get back to their positions. After this, Wendy and Iggy join Bowser Jr.'s squad.
