This article is about the winged species of Galoombas that appear in Super Mario World. For the recurring winged Goombas, referred to as "Flying Goombas" in Hotel Mario, see Paragoomba. For their Mario Clash counterparts, see Para-Goomba (Mario Clash). For the Galoombas with parachutes in Super Mario World, see Para-Goomba (Super Mario World).

Template:Species-infobox Flying Goombas[1] are Galoombas with wings. They first appear in Super Mario World and its remakes, Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 and Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World. They act much like Paragoombas do, jumping around using their wings. Once stomped on, they change back into normal Galoombas, and their wings disappear, again like how Paragoombas turn into regular Goombas when stomped.

In Hotel Mario, the Paragoombas that appeared in the game were mistakenly called "Flying Goombas".

In Super Mario Adventures, a Flying Goomba makes a relatively minor appearance, being seen among the creatures sent by Bowser to attack Princess Toadstool's Palace. One is also seen among the attendees to Bowser's marriage to the hypnotized Princess Toadstool.

A Flying Goomba appears as a sewing pattern in Mario Family.

They reappear in Super Mario Maker and Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS exclusively in the Super Mario World style if the player puts wings on a Galoomba.
