Flinger Painting is a Free-for-All minigame featured in Mario Party 9. Its name is a pun on "finger painting."

IntroductionEdit

The camera focuses on a canvas as it zooms out and the players walk into the place.

GameplayEdit

The players must shoot paintballs at the canvas. To shoot a paintball, the player must aim   at the screen and press or hold  . Holding   allows the player to charge a shot and cover a larger area of the canvas with paint. At the end of the minigame, the player who colored the most of the canvas wins.

In Time Attack, the player must cover at least 90% of the canvas. To clear the bonus objective, ten shots or fewer must be made.

In-game textEdit

  • Rules"Launch paint blobs at the canvas. Cover the most space with your color to win!"
  • Controls"Point the Wii Remote at the area you want to hit with your paint. Press   to shoot. Hold   to charge up a large paint shot. Release   after charging to fire."
