Template:Species-infobox Fizzlits[1] are small purple blob-like enemies that first appeared in Super Mario Galaxy 2 where they have a tooth-shaped body. They mainly attack by hopping around and melting into a large round electric puddle, which will shock and damage the player(s) on contact. Fizzlits are only vulnerable to any of the player's attacks when they are in their solid purple form. Fizzlits appear mostly in industrial levels, such as in Bowser Jr.'s Fearsome Fleet, and in Bowser Jr.'s Boom Bunker, but also make a appearance in Cosmic Cove Galaxy. In order to defeat Fizzlits, Mario must wait until they change back into a solid purple form to avoid any attack. They can also be defeated if eaten by Yoshi.

Fizzlits reappear in Super Mario 3D World. They are now square-shaped with fixed eyes and still retain the same method of attack from before: generating an electric puddle in an attempt to damage players. However, Fizzlits cannot jump around and are fixed in position, seemingly by a suction foot appendage on the bottom. The puddle they melt into is now square, and their entire faces can be seen on top of the puddle, rather than their eyes poking out as they did in their previous appearance. The puddles are now smaller as well. When in their puddle state, they can move from side to side in fixed paths before reverting to their solid forms. When they melt, the Fizzlit will look in the direction they are going to move.
