Template:Minigame-infobox Fish Sticks is a 4-player minigame in Mario Party 5. Its name comes from the real life food, fishsticks (also known as "fish fingers"), which are battered slices of fish.

Introduction

A Fishin' Lakitu flies down and catches a Cheep Cheep with its fishing rod. The four players then walk up from separate ports where their boats are docked.

Gameplay

Players attempt to catch Cheep Cheeps on the ends of the various scattered fishing rods surrounding a pool of water in the middle of the platform to earn points.

There are twelve rods total. When a fishing rod sinks down, this signifies that a Cheep Cheep has bitten the line. Red Cheep Cheeps are worth one point, and larger golden ones are worth two points. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Ending

The camera zooms in on the location of the winner, who then performs their victory animation.
