First4Figures is a United Kingdom and Hong Kong-based toy company established in 2003 that creates expensive high-quality statues based on popular licenses. They started creating licensed statues based on the Mario franchise in 2011. Statues can have Exclusive, Definitive, and Collector's Editions, which include more accessories, a larger statue, or other additional items. These are usually more expensive than the regular versions of the statues.

Mario Nintendo DS Holder

First4Figures' first Mario product was a 12 inch PVC statue of Mario that was designed to hold a Nintendo DS Lite, Nintendo DSi, or Nintendo 3DS. It was originally priced at $29.95.[1]

Tanooki Mario Statue

Regular version

In September 2013, First4Figures unveiled a 15 inch resin statue of Tanooki Mario based on Super Mario 3D Land. The regular version of the statue retailed for $199.99 and was a limited run of 2,000 units.[2] The exclusive version of the statue retailed for $239.99 and was a limited run of 750 units. It includes a Super Leaf on top of a ? Block, as well as a scarf accessory for the version of Tanooki Mario granted by the Statue Leaf.[3]

Cat Mario Statue

Regular version

In September 2015, First4Figures unveiled a 15 inch resin statue of Lucky Cat Mario (referred to simply as Cat Mario) sitting on top of a ? Block. The Regular Version retailed for $209.99, was a limited run of 2,000 units, and includes an authentication card.[4] The Exclusive Version retailed for $259.99, was a limited run of 750 units, and also includes a Lucky Bell on top of an Empty Block.[5] The Lucky Cat Mario Exclusive version retailed for $399.99, was a limited run of 125 units, and has a shiny golden finish.[6][7]

Bowser Statue

Regular Edition

In 2017, First4Figures unveiled a 19 inch resin statue of Bowser. Both the Regular Edition and Exclusive Edition of the statue retailed for $699.99. The Regular Edition was a limited run of 750 statues.[8] The Exclusive Edition was a limited run of 1,000 statues, and includes an interchangeable LED Fire Breath effect and magnetized tongue.[9]

In October 2020, a second production run of an additional 750 statues for the Regular Edition only was announced.[10]

Mario and Yoshi Statue

Standard Edition

In March 2019, First4Figures unveiled a 19 inch resin statue of Mario and Yoshi. The Standard Edition retailed for $499.99 and included an authentication card. The Exclusive Edition retailed for $524.99 and additionally included a magnetic Yoshi's Egg and base. The Definitive Edition retailed for $674.99 and included a larger magnetic base with interchangeable flowers, replacing the one from the Exclusive Edition, and two magnetic Checkpoint Flags, one with Mario's emblem and one with Bowser's.[11]

Luigi's Mansion 3 Statue

In October 2019, First4Figures unveiled a 9 inch PVC statue of Luigi based on Luigi's Mansion 3. The Standard Edition retailed for $74.99 and includes only the statue of Luigi. The Collector's Edition, retailing for $99.99, also includes Polterpup with LED functions, and also added LED functions on the base and Luigi's Poltergust G-00. The base also has glow-in-the-dark footprints on it. The Exclusive Edition, retailing for $114.99, includes a deluxe box and authentication card.[12]
