Template:Levelbox Extra Spice is the first level in Bowser's Castle in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey.

Overview

Upon entering the castle, Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings are attacked by the Malatone-infected Morton. Bowser Jr. walks up to him and tells him that he ate the Charred Spicy Drumstick and it was gross. However, Morton still attacks the group, forcing them to fight him. This level has five battles, with the troops mostly consisting of Para-Biddybuds on all rounds. Also, the first officers and captains are all Para-Biddybuds, with the exception of the last round which has the Malatone-infected Morton as the captain, who a little while into the battle gives his Chain Chomps Malatone Formula:X. After beating him, Bowser Jr. gives him the RenewaLeaf, finally bringing him back to his senses. After Bowser Jr. has an emotional reunion with Morton, he gives all the Koopalings his sincerest apologies for his behavior, then rallies them along with the rest of the Koopa Troop for the final battle against the Best Fitness Friends.
